supplier of the spec chassis for the Senior Rotax class at the 7th

Intrepid will supply a full field of Explorer chassis. We believe
Swiss Hutless will continue to supply the Junior Rotax class (with
the Diabolik chassis) and Rotax's own RM1 chassis (actually made by
Sodi Kart) will be used for the DD2 class.

04/11/06 > Rotax announces East
Regional Venue change:
This press release is to announce a
change of venue for the 2006 East Grand Regional taking place July
19-22, 2006. The Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge is proud to announce
that Ocala Gran Prix in Ocala, FL will host of this year's
prestigious event. Jorge Arellano, owner of Ocala Gran Prix is a
huge supporter of the ROTAX Program and Series Director for the
North Florida local series.
"It is a perfect fit, explains Joe Ramos Jr. - Program Director for
the Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge. Jorge Arellano really stepped up
for the ROTAX program this year in Florida and I'm excited to bring
one of the biggest karting events of the year to Ocala. Track
support is vital to creating a great event and there isn't a track
in the US that offers more support for Rotax than Ocala Gran Prix.
With the top drivers from each class qualifying on to our Grand
National at Champ Car's Road America event -- the East Grand
Regional will prove to be an exciting and memorable event for all
that attend."
"Ocala Gran Prix is honored to service this unique group of ROTAX
racers. The ROTAX program is something that we at OGP want to be
involved with for the long haul", states Matt Anderson, Director of
Operations at Ocala Gran Prix. OGP has already demonstrated their
large race event capabilities in hosting a very well-run and
successful finale to the Florida Winter Tour. As Anderson further
states, "However, we feel that our efforts and the longevity of the
sport lie in the ROTAX program. We at OGP feel so strongly in the
future success of the program we went a step further in our
commitment this year by becoming the Series Director of the North
Florida local series." Jorge Arellano, founder, owner and CEO of
Ocala Gran Prix also states, "I truly believe in this program and
will continue to support it to maintain the highest levels of
integrity in all aspects."
From the East Regional, the top 15 drivers from each class will
qualify to compete in the US Grand National -- September 22-23 in
Elkhart Lake, WI at Road America's Briggs & Stratton Motorplex. This
partnership at Road America exhibits Champ Car's and Rotax's
commitment to have a presence at each organization's events. "Having
all three series in competition will provide a one of a kind
experience for all involved as the younger drivers can get ideas on
how to make that next step in their racing careers and see what it
is like to race at the top level of open-wheel racing, while Champ
Car and Atlantic owners will be able to see kart talent at its
best," states Joe Ramos Jr.
